When I first saw this website, it seemed so pedestrian that I had to assume it was a cheap resume writing service for people who didn’t need extreme quality. Imagine my surprise when I saw the prices – they are really high! This company offers a narrow list of services with prices that not everyone can afford. The quality, on the other hand, didn’t meet my expectations.
This is a relatively popular resume writing service, and I can understand why. It seems really simple to use and it offers direct collaboration with the writer. Plus, it guarantees you an interview. However, I didn’t like the website at all. Although it seems plain at first sight, it’s actually busier than necessary.
The Company’s Services and Guarantees
There are four categories of services offered at ResumeWriters.com: professional resumes, executive resumes, student resumes, and IT resumes. The category professional resumes is designed for job applicants in different industries with more than 2 years of experience. You can also order LinkedIn profile writing services, CVs, as well as military-to-civilian resumes at this website.
As for the guarantees, there is a flashy box that attracts attention at the homepage: it says that an interview is guaranteed for all customers. If you don’t get an interview, the company will rewrite the resume for free. I asked for a rewrite, but I didn’t get one. Be careful guys; not every guarantee you read at a website is an actual practice.
Pricing and Discount Policy
The student/grad resume packages are the most affordable products this company offers. They are still very expensive, though. A resume for a young professional costs $169.95. If you decide to order the complete “arsenal” for young professionals (it includes resume, electronic resume, scannable resume, a cover letter, and a follow up letter), you’ll pay $259.95. A CV is more expensive – it costs $299.95 regardless of the applicant’s level. The Executive Service Platinum package costs $389.95.
There are no discounts at this website, so don’t even hope for a price reduction.
It’s practically non-existent. There are toll-free and local phone numbers at the website, but no one picked up. I also tried contacting the team via email, but I didn’t get any response for days. I just got the resume delivered, and then I was ignored again when I tried to ask for revisions. The company also left an email for everyone who wants to contact the webmaster, so I’m really thinking to use that opportunity, just to express my disappointment with the design.
ResumeWriters.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards. There is no option to pay with PayPal, and I think that’s really inconvenient. The payments are processed by Americart Ecommerce Shopping Cart Service.
Quality of Delivered Products
I ordered a normal professional resume, priced at $199.95. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the results I expected. I submitted my own, plain resume during the ordering process. As usual, I wanted to get a revamped version of it. However, I got a rewritten resume. The same statements were paraphrased, and somewhere in the middle the text got really repetitive.
I tried getting a revision, but the support team (which I doubt it exists) ignored me. The writer did contact me right after I placed the order, but we lost touch from then on. As you may see from my ResumeWriters.com review I wouldn’t recommend this service to people who want to get decent job application documents for a fair price.

Not looking at their guarantees, my CV was terrible, so I needed to write it myself. Bad experience.
Asked for CV editing, the quality was okay, not five star CV but for jun position was really good. Later I managed to create CV myself using guidelines from the internet.
Many thanks for your terrible service! I needed to write my resume myself since the resume you sent me was terrible and all red in word. I have found numerous spelling and grammar errors. And when I have asked you for the refund - you refused it! Ohh!
