CustomEssayWriter is an academic writing service most students aren’t aware of. It’s a humble website with a limited list of services and insanely expensive prices. The essay I got from the company was not entirely bad, but it was too simple for the level I paid for. There are many other services that deliver much higher quality for a price that students can actually afford.

I thought that the time of lousy plain websites was gone, since even the most experienced companies in the industry started changing their design. Custom Essay Writer sticks to the pedestrian design that’s supposed to deliver all information you need. The only impression I got was: boring.

All you can see at the homepage is a brief list of the following “products”: coursework help, write my essay, coursework writing service, assignment writing service, dissertation writers, essay help, and buy dissertation. Why would the founders put such options under the Our Services menu, it remains a mystery. The price chart gives you a better impression of the company’s offer. You’ll also see paraphrasing as an available service. I’ve already told you: don’t trust companies that have a plagiarism-free guarantee, but still sell paraphrased papers.
These are the guarantees you get at CustomEssayWriter: quality guarantee, friendly customer support, communication at any time, timely delivery, 100% confidentiality, plagiarism-free papers, and affordable prices (oh, the irony).
Prices and Discounts
Sit down before you read this part of my review. The cheapest price per page for an essay at this site is $13.00 for the lowest level of quality with a deadline of 10 days. But, as you take a careful look at the price chart, you see that the quotes range up to unbelievable $114.00 per page for Master’s level with a deadline of 3 hours. Paraphrasing is also expensive – up to $36.60 per page. Why would you pay such a high price for an unoriginal paper?
Although discounts are mentioned in the Guarantees section, you won’t find more information at the website. The representatives will give you a promo code if you contact them.
Quality of Services
I thought the high price would result with better quality, but I was wrong. I ordered an essay on human consciousness and the content was not bad, but it lacked proof. The writer mentioned scientists and research in few occasions, but those claims seemed made up, since there were no references and precise sources.
Customer Service
I contacted the customer support few times with the attempt to get revisions. They put me through a lengthy procedure, saying that someone had to approve my request. I had to wait for a week and contact them several times before getting the revisions. Instead of including the references I asked for, the author decided to get rid of those parts. So, I still didn’t get the level I was hoping to receive for this price.
Additional Features
You can choose an option make my order high priority in the ordering form. With this addition, your order will be the first to get a writer. I don’t see the point in that. You set a deadline and the company is obliged to respect it.
Here’s my final opinion: this is a very expensive service that’s not worth the investment. Maybe you have a better experience with it? Please, share your impressions.
